Thread treatments are a natural way to lift and stimulate collagen and elastin. Whether you want a natural lift (no fillers) or want to continue to slow down the effects of aging in between filler, threads are a good treatment. It is best to use thread treatments when you first start to see the signs of saggy skin.
To perform the thread treatments the face is divided into three sections. Only do one section at a time and most patients focus on one area of concern.
1. Eyebrow Lift - for sagging eyebrows
2. Mid Face Lift - to gently lift the cheeks which can move any eye contouring up and gently pulls the cheek up
3. Jowl Lift - corrects mild sagging at the jawline
Benefits of Threading:
Restore a youthful natural appearance
Little to no downtime
Minimal to no scarring
May be repeated as necessary
Softens sagging, folding, or hollowing in the mid-face
Softens jowls along the jawline
An excellent alternative to surgical options
In-office treatment that lasts 45 to 90 minutes
“Awesome! Highly recommend. It lifted my cheek area and tightened my face to create a youthful appearance.”
Specific threads used include:
This thread dissolved in 4 to 6 months and the lifting effect will last 18 to 24 months.
These threads dissolve in 18 to 24 months and can last from 2 to 4 years.
These have all the characteristics of the PDO threads with additional tensile strength.
At SkinTrust we use threads from the following two companies, both FDA approved:
MINT ( Minimally Invasive Nonsurgical Threads)

Medical Micro-needling Treatments
When your skin is healthy it will look its best. Skin Rejuvenation supports healthy skin. Medical micro-needling is an excellent skin rejuvenation treatment. It is used both preventatively - to slow the aging process, or correctively - to improve age-related skin issues.
Specifically, medical micro-needling improves:
Elastin & collagen production
Hyper-pigmentation - discoloration
Medical micro-needling uses needles that reach the dermis to produce a natural wound-healing process created by a small handheld automatic device that contains tiny micro-needles and passes over the skin creating tiny micro-wounds. In skin care, there are two levels of Micro-needling - cosmetic & medical. Read our blog to understand the differences.
At SkinTrust we have four levels of medical Micro-needling. We recommend a series of treatments for optimum results.
Micro-needling is performed using a base of hyaluronic acid to guide the device and plump the skin. Excellent to keep your skin healthy, slow down the aging process, firm your skin if you have lost weight, reduce wrinkles, and improve Rosacea.
Combined Modality Treatments
Signs of age appear on our skin when we lose moisture, collagen, and elastin. This two-part treatment restores youthfulness to your skin. Excellent to correct early aging issues or for dehydrated skin.
Combining the dynamic dual of medical micro-needling with micro-current stimulates more blood flow, lymph drainage, collagen & elastin production - all resulting in increased wound healing and healthier skin. Excellent to improve lax or saggy skin and aging issues.
By including PRP (platelet-rich plasma) in the micro-needling treatment you get the ultimate in skin rejuvenation. PRP or growth factors are an additional level of skin rejuvenation. Excellent for all aging issues including discoloration, skin laxity or sagginess, stretch marks, and scars.
With each micro-needling treatment, we recommend using the Keracell Recuperate to enhance the healing process. This growth factor serum is formulated with DUO Fusion stem cell technology and copper peptides that assist in the recovery process and enhance the results. We are offering a 10% discount when purchased with a micro-needling treatment.
